Night Moves: A Short Story

I like to challenge myself with everything I write, and "Night Moves" was no exception. I wanted to see if I could write a good story chiefly through dialogue. (Some might say "telling" rather than "showing.") You be the judge of whether it worked. 

Nicki is the overnight radio host of a Chicago talk/music show, and one of her listeners calls in to say she fears that a murder has taken place. Nicki and her listeners help solve the case. This story is also a tribute to a New York Overnight DJ, Allison Steele, AKA "The Night Bird" who passed away much too soon. I used to listen to her on WNEW FM when I lived in NYC. I loved that she read poetry on the air in between rock music.
